Because her boyfriend knew about how expensive some of her dolls were, she suspects he sold the most valuable ones and trashed the rest.
She estimates her entire collection was valued at tens of thousands of dollars, with many of her dolls being worth $1,000 each or more.
She feels that it was so mean of her boyfriend to get rid of her dolls behind her back and without her permission.
She has since posted on a couple of internet groups dedicated to collectors of her dolls, hoping that someone may have come across the most valuable ones she had and that she might be able to get those ones back.
“My question is: how can I get over this and move past it, and stop feeling like this was a betrayal since he says he meant it with good intentions?” she wondered.
“I’ve just never felt this sad in my whole life.” What advice do you have for her?
