“I was kind of keeping an eye on it because I was excited for her to go on the trip,” he said.
“When she got home, I said I can’t wait to see all the pics she took, and she really blew me off and said that she just didn’t feel like taking pics that week.”
Then, when his wife got home from her trip, she insisted on sleeping on the couch, claiming she wanted to be where the air conditioning was stronger.
The other night, while his wife was asleep on the couch, he overheard her talking to someone on the phone. He tried sneaking into the living room to listen, but then he crashed into something, so his wife quickly shut off her phone and pretended to be sleeping.
The next morning, he decided to talk to his wife and said that while he didn’t want to accuse her of anything, her behavior made him suspicious. His wife became defensive and angry before accusing him of prying.
After she left for work, he realized his wife’s texts synced to her iPad, which she left at home, so he unlocked it to see if she had been texting anyone unusual.
It turns out that she was, and she had a message from someone asking her to meet them in the resort lobby in Mexico and connect with them on an app similar to WhatsApp.
Now, he’s unsure what to do, as there are a lot of red flags surrounding the situation, and his wife is not being honest with him.
