These 4th Of July Jello Shots Are Festive And Delicious

To make your jello shots, you’ll want to begin by making your blue jello layer. Pour the blue raspberry jello powder into a mixing bowl and combine with one cup of boiling water, then stir until the powder is dissolved. Add one cup of vodka to the bowl, then stir again.

Take the blue jello mixture and fill up each of your shot glasses 1/3rd of the way. Then, place them in the fridge until the blue jello layer is set, which should take about an hour.

Next up is the white layer of jello! Place your two packets of unflavored gelatin in a clean mixing bowl along with one cup of cold water. Stir, then let the gelatin “bloom” by letting it sit for about three minutes.

Add a cup of boiling water and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Then, pour in your can of sweetened condensed milk, stir well until everything is incorporated, then let the mixture cool for five minutes.

Once your condensed milk mixture has cooled, pour it over the blue jello in your shot glasses, making them 2/3rds full. Let the shots chill in the fridge for another hour or until the white layer is set.

Finally, it’s time for the red layer! Follow the same process as the blue raspberry jello with your strawberry jello. Add the packet to a mixing bowl, stir in one cup of boiling water, then one cup of vodka, let it cool for a few minutes, then pour the mixture on top of the white layer in your shot glasses.

Once your shot glasses are filled, let the red layer of jello set in your fridge for at least an hour. Then, you’re good to go with red, white, and blue jello shots!

Keep the jello shots in the fridge until you’re ready to serve. Avoid letting any extras sit out at room temperature, as that can cause the jello to become runny.

These jello shots will be a hit at your next patriotic celebration and make for a memorable 4th of July. Enjoy!
