“She threw a fit and said I was being completely unreasonable, and that she’s tried for years to get it clean and never succeeded, and at this rate, she’ll never have a phone,” she explained.
“I put my foot down and told her that I’ll help her, but she needs to get it done. When I told my mother the story, she told me that I was [mean] and that I needed to apologize to her.”
She’s left wondering if her own mom is right and if it was nasty of her to ground her daughter until her room is clean.
