Everything happened exactly the way her husband told her. Her best friend, whom she has been close to for a decade, forced her husband to kiss her.
She feels incredibly betrayed, as her best friend is more like a sister to her than anything else, and after the third date she went on with her husband, she confessed to her best friend that she wanted to marry him. Her children also refer to her best friend as their aunt; that’s how close they are.
“She knows how much I love him and how strong our relationship is, and still, she chose to try to come in the middle,” she added.
The day after the barbecue, her best friend came to her house trying to speak to her, and her husband had to hold her back because she wanted to hit her best friend. Luckily, her husband made her best friend leave.
Although it’s been close to a week since this all occurred, she can’t move on. While her husband is innocent and not to blame, she is so upset about her best friend.
“I’ve been lying down on my husband’s chest and just crying every day and night. I’m so angry and frustrated and don’t know what to do,” she continued.
“My husband has been amazing, and like always, he just gets it and understands how I’m feeling. He brought me flowers almost every day and cooked my favorite meals multiple times in the last few days. I love and appreciate him all the more for it. I just don’t know how I’m going to move on and trust any of my friends again after this.”
