“To speak ill about your grandchild is weird,” she admitted.
“My mother-in-law even told me my daughter would never make it in life. This was giving jealousy and projection. I wasn’t going to let her trash my daughter at all.”
So, she wound up saying that her daughter wasn’t going anywhere. Then, she told her mother-in-law to stop questioning her parenting and mind her own business since her mother-in-law was never a good mom to her own kids.
“Don’t worry, she won’t be seeing my kids again, and my husband and I have talked about it,” she vented.
Still, she’s not sure if telling her mother-in-law off and saying she was never a good mom was the wrong way to handle this situation or not.
