Her daughter continued to cry after her ears were finished, so she quickly paid the Claire’s employee and left.
Her daughter was unhappy with her for a few days following the piercing but eventually started telling her how much she loved her earrings. So, she figured all the drama they went through was worth it.
But, the other day, when she told a mom from her daughter’s school what happened at Claire’s, the mom told her she shouldn’t have forced her daughter to get her ears pierced.
“We had already made the trip, and I wasn’t going to waste it,” she added. “She likes the [earrings] now, so I think it was okay. I’ve been thinking about it since, and I’m not sure now if I’m in the right or not.”
Was she wrong to hold her daughter down at Claire’s, or was it worth it in the end?
