One Month After 9/11, Recovery Workers Found The Charred Remains Of A Callery Pear Tree That Survived The Destruction And Went On To Be Planted At The National 9/11 Memorial And Museum

Seedlings were also given in honor of the lives lost during the Grenfell Tower fire in London and after Hurricane Maria left nearly 3,000 people dead in Puerto Rico.

Most recently, in 2023, seedlings were donated to the following communities. In Waukesha, Wisconsin, a vehicle plowed into a crowd of people gathered for a Christmas parade, killing six and injuring 62 others.

At Uvalde Memorial Hospital, 15 people who were victims of a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School were treated with meticulous care.

The hospital was given a tree for their heroism. Finally, there was Little Rock, Arkansas, for the tornadoes that ravaged their city.

One day, these seedlings from the Survivor Tree will grow tall and strong, acting as a living symbol of survival, hope, and healing.
