He Told His Postpartum Wife To Get A Life Of Her Own And Stop Being So Clingy Since She Keeps Getting Upset Whenever He Spends Time With His Sister

“She didn’t even speak to me and completely ignored me, but after an hour of not speaking, she burst into tears, and it was the longest and worst I’ve ever seen her cry,” he recalled.

“I apologized, [although] I don’t know why, and then I took her out to her favorite place for dinner. She was really happy; however, that night when we were in bed, she again cried and talked about how she wished I gave 100% of my ’emotional affection and energy’ to her and not split it between her and my sister.”

He then snapped at his wife and told her she should “get a life of her own” and “stop being so clingy.”

His wife told him that was the most hurtful thing anyone had told her, and he felt sorry and apologized to her a second time.

How can he smooth things over with his wife and still be able to spend some quality time with his sister?
