The Ornate Ruins Of Roman Emperor Nero’s Infamous Theater Were Discovered In Italy After There Was Difficulty Locating It

According to the historian Tacitus’s writings, he watched as Rome burned to the ground during the great fire of 64 A.D. from the vantage point of the theater.

Several other objects were unearthed at the site. The finds date back to the 10th century and include treasures such as pottery vessels, colored glass goblets, rosary beads, bronze amulets, and animal bones fashioned into combs and musical instruments.

The artifacts were moved to a museum. Once studies are completed, the remains of the theater will be buried again.
