“If that treadmill has become a coat rack, if the jump rope has not seen the light of day if it’s weights, a yoga mat, or even you’re clothing, [like] a bunch of athleisure wear and you’re not using it, get that stuff out of your house,” says Abigail.

“Especially if it’s evoking feelings of guilt. It’s okay; get rid of that stuff. It’s okay.”

Like many of her decluttering videos, users commented on Abigail’s video to talk about their personal experience with that kind of clutter.

“I’ve been thinking about this for a while,” commented one TikTok user.

“Thank you for this video; it feels like the permission I’ve needed to give myself.”

Other items and spaces Abigal’s decluttering wheel has landed on include books, ‘one flat surface,’ keys, earrings, etc.

If you’re not on TikTok very often or don’t see yourself being able to keep up with Abigail’s weekly videos, you can make your own decluttering wheel! Grab a small wheel you can write on with dry-erase markers, write down some areas or things in your house that need to be cleared up, and spin it once or twice a week to inspire you to make progress.

Again, having someone tell you what to do and when takes a lot of stress out of cleaning and decluttering, which is why Abigail’s videos are so great. Check out her profile and see how her content can help you complete your spring cleaning!
