Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Properly Using Makeup Primer To Help Your Look Last All Day

After purchasing a makeup primer, you can apply it after your skincare routine and before your makeup.

You should allow your moisturizer products to fully absorb into your skin before applying your primer.

Less is more when it comes to primer; you don’t want to use too much at once. You can apply it to your face, eyelids, lips, etc., using your fingers, a brush, or a beauty sponge. I prefer applying it with my fingers as if I were applying skincare.

Again, what kind of primer you need depends on your skin type and the conditions in which you wear makeup.

For instance, I personally do not wear primer every day unless it’s the summertime, and I know I’ll be more likely to sweat my makeup off.

I also like to put it on before a long night out when I won’t have the chance to go home and touch up my makeup.

If you’ve had a lot of recent frustration from runny makeup and haven’t been wearing primer, it’ll change everything once you do!
