Still surprised, he decided to tell Zoey he could no longer drive her home after exams because he didn’t want to risk Chewy going to the bathroom in his car.
“Of course, Zoey wasn’t happy about that [and] she kept on saying things like how I promised, and I wasn’t being fair to Chewy, etc.,” he recalled.
“When I repeated that I couldn’t take the risk, she said that I was being unbelievable and childish. I ended up leaving on my own after my exam yesterday, and now a few people have been texting me saying I’m [a jerk] for abandoning Zoey on campus and that I should apologize.”
Should he feel bad for taking away his offer from Zoey, or were his actions justified?
