He Never Told His Wife Their Home Was The Scene Of A Murder-Suicide, So Ever Since She Found Out, She’s Been Staying With Her Parents

“The other day, Jennifer was at the grocery store, and she got into a conversation with an elderly woman.”

“The woman asked where she lived, and Jennifer described the location. Apparently, the elderly woman told her, ‘Oh, the old Johnson house? Terrible what happened there,’ and explained everything [to her].”

When Jennifer returned from the grocery store, she was horrified and told him a lot more information about the murder-suicide that occurred in the house that he wasn’t aware of.

Trying to calm her down and not let her anxiety get worse, he told Jennifer that he never really cared about the house’s history.

“Jennifer got slack-jawed and said she couldn’t live in a place where something so terrible had happened,” he remembered.

“I responded that that’s what she had been doing for the past year and a half. Jennifer dramatically fled the house with a suitcase to stay with her parents.”

“She keeps calling me, arguing about selling the house, and then hanging up on me. She seems really upset about my not telling her, but as I said before, I legitimately didn’t care enough to even remember.”

Should he have told Jennifer about the murder-suicide before she moved into his house, or was it fine that he didn’t say anything?
