In the days after that, her car has been at the same location. He ended up taking the Airtag out as he felt too upset to see that his girlfriend was lying to him.
His girlfriend came to America 11 years ago from another country all alone. She said she wanted to help her family in her home country, and that was her reason for immigrating.
He has since gone through their state’s nurse registry to look for her name, and he couldn’t find her in there.
He also has uncovered old tax documents that prove his girlfriend listed her profession as a nanny 8 years ago, though he couldn’t come up with anything more recent than that.
This relationship is hands-down the best one he has ever been in, and he doesn’t want to jeopardize that.
But, he did decide to confront his girlfriend and tell her that he knows she doesn’t work as a nurse. At first, she denied it all the way before accusing him of not trusting her.
“I tried to let her tell me the truth on her own, but that didn’t happen, so I brought up that I searched her name in the nurse database,” he said.
“At that point, she stopped denying it and just went silent. I’m hoping to still here from her why she did it and why she wanted to risk our relationship by lying for this long.”
