This woman’s 29-year-old best friend has been married to her husband, who is 27, for five years. Throughout their relationship, the couple has also been living on a low income.

So, her friend heavily relies on both family and government assistance in order to make ends meet – which can be quite stressful. That’s why her friend is constantly calling her and complaining about how tough their life is.

“They can’t afford to fix their car, [my friend] can’t get him a birthday present, their AC broke, etc.,” she explained.

“And not just mentioning these things in passing but just full-fledge complaining.”

She always tries to give the best advice she can, too. But, her friend always just gets upset with her advice and claims it “will never work.”

Being that they are best friends, she and her friend sometimes talk about their love lives, too. During these conversations, she learned that her friend opted not to use any protection because of side effects – which she thought was a very dumb decision.

She tried to tell her friend this, too and claimed that her friend needed to be prepared for any consequences – like getting pregnant.

Well, her friend never listened, and just recently, her friend and their husband became pregnant. This only made the complaining a thousand times worse, and her friend went from venting about not being able to make ends meet to constantly talking about how they could not afford a baby.

“And after being called for the twenty-plus time and listening to her be upset for two hours, I was so emotionally drained,” she recalled.
