This 28-year-old man met his 27-year-old fiancée back when they were in college. Some of their mutual friends introduced them, and they formed an immediate connection. They started out as best friends, really, but then two months into meeting, they chose to start dating.

They spent pretty much all of their college years alongside one another, and everyone came to know them as a couple to look up to and love.

Upon graduation, they had to do the whole long-distance thing, but they still planned trips and made the time to see one another.

They always got so excited to spend time beside each other, and it was difficult for them not to be as close as they had been before.

When they were not able to physically be together, they constantly kept in contact. They were so close that their families would make vacation plans, and they both would go on those trips together.

They spent the next two years after graduation long-distance, but then he moved to the state where she lived to be with her.

He didn’t move in with her, even though he moved to be near her. Instead, he lived 15 minutes away with a roommate he knew from college, and his fiancée frequently slept over.

After he and his fiancée were dating for six years, they moved in, and it’s been more than two years since they have been living together so far.

Last summer, he proposed, and his fiancée was thrilled. They didn’t want to rush into a wedding since they have been together since they were pretty young.
