His Disappearance Remains Unsolved After He Vanished In November, But While Investigators Claimed No Blood Was Found In His Abandoned Vehicle, His Mother Reportedly Saw Some While Working With A Private Investigator

“It’s a true mystery. We don’t know what happened to him,” said Pecos County Sheriff TJ Perkins.

The inside of Justin’s car was found to be “clean,” according to police. Yet, Justin’s mother, Vicki, tells a contrasting story.

She reportedly saw blood inside her son’s vehicle before it was given to investigators back in late January. At the time, a private investigator had used Luminol purchased from Amazon to reveal traces of blood.

“It was almost like an ‘aha’ moment, and shocking actually,” Vicki said.

An analysis of the GPS in Justin’s car– which was a Hyundai– also showed that he had been searching for a convenience store in Seguin not long after Vicki last saw him. Seguin was hours away from his home in Sugar Land.

Additionally, that same evening, Justin’s credit card was used at a sandwich shop located at a truck stop in Seguin. Then, it was used at a different truck stop located in San Antonio at 4:00 a.m.– just seven hours before Justin’s car was located around 11:00 a.m. in Pecos County.

This same credit card was located inside the abandoned vehicle, along with the rest of Justin’s personal belongings.

Back in November, authorities claimed that, upon questioning Justin’s family, they learned he had been taking medications for his mental health. He and his former fiancée had also split up earlier this year.

“The sheriff spoke with the family and was told that he had some mental problems that he needed to be medicated for. I don’t know what mental problems he had, but he did take medications,” Chief Murphy said.

Vicki is still hoping to find answers in her son’s case and is currently “waiting on Sugar Land investigators” to learn if they have uncovered any more clues.

However, in an interview with KRIV, Vicki said that she needs to accept the reality that Justin may not return home.
