So, they wound up getting into a pretty heated argument, and when his brother still wouldn’t invite his wife, he decided to put his foot down.
“I ended up telling my brother that if my wife wasn’t welcome, then he could forget about my financial help,” he revealed.

“They’re all on his side, saying it’s just one day, and my wife can suck it up and stay home. But I don’t see why she should be punished for something so trivial that happened ages ago,” he vented.
Still, with his family so up in arms over his decision, he can’t help but wonder if standing by his wife and withdrawing his financial support for the wedding was really the right thing to do.
Do you agree that his wife should be invited if he’s footing the bill? Did he have a right to withdraw his financial support or not? What would you have done?
