That never actually happened, though. Instead, about a year ago, she finally had enough of their tumultuous marriage and decided to separate from her ex. Afterward, they got a divorce.
So now, she still has the ring, and in the back of her mind, she knows that she should probably just give it back to her ex.
“But part of me wants to melt it down and make a nice ring for myself,” she admitted.
That’s why she’s been left wondering if never telling her ex-husband that she has his ring and keeping it for herself would be a jerky move or not.
