While she thinks it’s admirable and commendable that others in her shoes may just cut off communication, that wasn’t the path she and her husband chose to take.
“I am petty, so this morning, I showed my husband the messages. He’s petty, too, and we both decided to send screenshots to a family group chat. I wrote that our baby has two parents, and these messages were only shared with one, so I wanted to share them with everybody,” she shared.
Since she texted the group chat, her husband’s mother and sister have been bombarding her with messages, but she put her phone on Do Not Disturb so that she didn’t have to see or hear the constant flood of notifications.
For the rest of the day, she and her husband decided to have a chill day by baking cookies and watching movies together.
