However, this was an issue for him and his wife, as he had already paid for and booked a nice, fancy date for them and their last night and needed the nanny to watch the baby.
His nanny kept asking for the night off, trying to make him and his wife feel guilty. After going back and forth for a while, he put his foot down and told the nanny that she couldn’t have the night off so that he and his wife could go out instead of her.
“We didn’t give in, and she looked after the kid,” he recalled.
“Upon returning, my wife heard her on the phone saying that she was thinking of quitting [because of] all of this and that we were blocking her future.”
Now, his wife feels like they made a mistake, but he doesn’t feel as bad because the nanny’s sole purpose in going on vacation with them was to watch the baby.
