Her husband had been hurt because her sister-in-law said that it was unfortunate that she had more money than he did, and she went on to claim that her husband’s job wasn’t a “real job.”
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first occasion that her sister-in-law was cruel to her husband, but this was the worst her cruelty had ever been.
Her brother-in-law has never stood up for her husband when his partner has made rude comments.
“It’s pretty clear that he is in an abusive relationship. He came to us multiple times during these four years, saying that he wanted to break up, and never did,” she shared.
After the ordeal on Christmas, she decided to cut off communication with her sister-in-law.
Since her sister-in-law had never made an effort to be cordial to her or initiate conversations in the first place, it wasn’t difficult to end all communication with her.
Last month, her brother-in-law texted her husband to ask why she wasn’t talking to her sister-in-law anymore.
She didn’t want him to tell him the reason because she didn’t want this to fuel the fire and play right into what her sister-in-law wanted.
Her brother-in-law hasn’t dropped the subject and continues to ask her husband what’s going on, and she’s concerned that there will be tension over the holidays.
No matter what happens, she will do whatever she can to stand up for her husband because he’s the sweetest and best person she’s ever known.
She doesn’t want to enable her sister-in-law, which is what the rest of her husband’s family seems to do.
