In her view, it’s important for people to have a mother in their lives. Her goal was to assist in bringing her boyfriend and his mother back together so that they could maybe one day have a relationship again.
When her boyfriend found out that she’d invited his mother to his birthday party, he was furious, telling her that she had overstepped the clear boundaries he had set. Then, he told her that it wasn’t her place to decide whether or not to invite his mother to his party.
“He said, ‘You can pack your things and get out.’ Those were his words. I said sorry, but he’s not talking to me. I always ruin everything,” she shared.
Since the fight, she hasn’t been able to stop crying hysterically, acknowledging that she was wrong.
She is deeply in love with her boyfriend, but she doesn’t know what she can do to make him forgive her or take her back.
In the meantime, she accepts that he needs space to heal, and she’s holding onto hope that he will reach out to her one day.
