While looking at pictures of the four-star hotel, Kara had a bit of an attitude and double-checked that she wouldn’t be staying at Villa Como. When she explained the situation to Kara, Kara told her that she and her fiancé should have planned to let everyone be able to stay in Villa Como.
Throughout the rest of the night, Kara made passive-aggressive comments about the hotel she’d be staying in and kept mentioning how she was really looking forward to staying in Villa Como.
While she understands that Kara, like all of her guests, is making a great effort by traveling and paying for her flights to attend the wedding, she never pressured her to make the arrangements.
“My mom said maybe we should just pay for Kara’s stay at Villa Como, as I had already got her hopes up,” she added.
“My sister thinks that Kara should understand that wedding plans change. She thinks that Kara should be grateful that we’re providing her a hotel stay at all and that if she really [wants] to stay at Villa Como, she can pay for it herself.”
Should she feel bad for putting Kara in a different hotel, or should Kara stop making her feel bad about it?
