TikTok viewers found the video to be hysterical as they couldn’t believe Jeff could not only fall asleep during a horror movie but also that not a single person saw him asleep in the theater and woke him up before closing time at 11:00 pm.
“You can hear the sleep in your voice,” commented one TikTok user.
“They usually come in and clean up right after, so you would think somebody would’ve woke you up,” commented another user.
After Jeff’s video went viral with over 200,000 likes, viewers began demanding more information on how he was able to get home after being trapped in the empty theater!
In a follow-up video, Jeff explains that after realizing he was left alone in the theater, he decided to go out a back door since he couldn’t get through the main doors.
Security alarms began sounding as soon as he opened the door, but Jeff decided to simply get in his car and go straight home.
And no, in case you’re wondering, he did not take any snacks from the concessions stand, as he knew they wouldn’t be worth the trouble.
A user in the comments on Jeff’s second video asked how in the world he was able to fall asleep during the horror movie, and he responded that it was because of the air conditioning.
So the next time you’re going to a later movie showing, and there’s even the slightest possibility that you’ll start to doze off, maybe grab yourself an energy drink or go with a friend!
