The wine jars were tall, with two handles and a narrow neck. They contained wine that was most likely from the island of Chios in ancient Greece.
Additionally, utensils, cups, ceramics, iron objects, an assortment of ornamental accessories, a bronze cauldron, and a tablecloth used for a funerary ritual were uncovered. The tablecloth may have been used during a banquet called “the last meal” or the “meal of the dead.”
The artifacts in the tomb suggest that the family who was laid to rest there was significantly wealthy during their time.
The tomb also had a complex structure. It was divided into two different chambers with a partition carved from rock, creating an arched passageway between the rooms.
