This 37-year-old man has a 35-year-old wife, and they have been happily married for 11 years. He says his wife is amazing.
Now, his wife has a friend named Beth, whom she has been close to for 8 years, and his wife and Beth also happen to work together.
He’s always been friendly with Beth, and they’re not exactly friends but close to it. Things between him and Beth have never been awkward, and Beth has been in their lives for years.
Not that long ago, his wife went out of town for a couple of days. While she was gone, he went out to shop for groceries and ran into Beth.
They chit-chatted and shopped together for the next 20 minutes, and then they walked out to the parking lot, about to go their different ways.
Beth asked him what he happened to be doing later that night, and he mentioned he was just going to be working in the garage.
But then Beth said she could drop off her groceries and come keep him company if he wanted, but he replied that he’s alright; it’s just him and the dogs.
Beth paused for a moment and said that she forgot that his wife was out of town. But things did not end there.
“Beth sent me a couple of texts late that night about a show she thought I would like,” he explained.
