She Called Children’s Services On Her Neighbor After They Dropped Off Their Six Children On Her Doorstep And Left Town, Even After She Said She Couldn’t Babysit

Forty minutes later, she sent her neighbor a text message telling her that if she didn’t come back in 10 minutes to pick up her children, she would be calling Children’s Services.

When her neighbor didn’t respond to her text, she called her.

Thankfully, her neighbor answered on the third ring, and she reiterated to her neighbor the same thing she’d told her via text message.

“She tried to tell me it was too late for her to come back as she was out of the city and that if I didn’t want to watch them, I could drop them off at Jennifer’s (the 68-year-old lady with health issues living on the opposite side of me). I repeated that if she wasn’t here in 10 minutes, she could pick them up at the local council if they decided she was a fit enough mother,” she explained.

After this, her neighbor swore at her and said that she didn’t believe she’d do that.

Because it felt like her neighbor was daring her to, she called Children’s Services right after the phone call. Then, she texted her neighbor to let her know that she’d been true to her word.

Her neighbor called her and said that she was halfway to her destination in Blackpool, England and that if she was being honest about calling Children’s Services, she would hurt her.

“So, I sent her a video when Child Services picked them up. The police were there, too, as they said they often tag along for collecting abandoned children in case something criminal has happened, and they asked a lot of questions about the mother. That night, my husband and I had a huge fight. My husband was in foster care, and he said, ‘Right cow, you are,'” she shared.

During their argument, her husband told her that she should have said no right away while standing at the door rather than waiting for more than 40 minutes before calling Children’s Services because that way, their neighbor would have been more able to turn around and pick up her children.

Another idea he had was that she could have refused to answer the door altogether.

Also, he said she could have run after their neighbor with the children and forced them all into the cab with their mother.
