This 28-year-old man recently proposed to his 28-year-old fiancée, and prior to getting down on one knee, she sent him a ton of engagement ring ideas.

She was very particular about what kind of a ring she wanted him to buy for her, and he then went out and made sure to get the same band and diamond shape she requested.

She then sent him a website where he could purchase a diamond for much cheaper than the going rate, so he wouldn’t have to spend as much, but he didn’t end up getting a ring from there.

He wasn’t sure that it was a reputable source, and he wanted to make sure he was buying her the best ring that he could afford.

She also asked that he buy her a 2-carat diamond engagement ring, but he ended up settling on a diamond that was 1.91 carats, so only slightly smaller than her request.

“The reason is because I found this 1.91 had much better specs and offered the best shiny-ness,” he explained.

“Fast forward a month or so, and she’s telling me I didn’t listen to what she wanted, and she’s extremely upset that it’s not what she asked for.”

“She also makes me feel bad for spending MY money on stuff unrelated to her and tells me I should’ve spent that on the ring, so it’s what she wanted.”

He also very thoughtfully picked out a great proposal spot; he took his fiancée to Santorini and then booked a private sunset yacht cruise for them, and that’s where he proposed to her.
