Some of her friends are insisting she should cover the cost of Janie’s medical bill since her dessert was what sent Janie into an allergic reaction, and they agree she should have indicated that her dessert contained peanut butter.
A handful of people are on her side and saying this wasn’t her fault at all and that Janie should have asked if her dessert contained any allergens or Rob should have let the guests know about her allergy prior to the party.
“Janie has been texting me multiple times daily and has sent me screenshots of her ER bill, which is about $2,000, and today, after I ignored her messages, she threatened to take me to court for ‘poisoning’ her,” she said.
She’s left wondering if it’s wrong of her to not want to pay Janie’s medical bill. What do you think?
