She’s Refusing To Bleach Her Hair Just To Be A Bridesmaid In Her Friend’s Winter Wonderland-Themed Wedding

And since she knows that bleaching can also damage hair, she just isn’t comfortable taking another risk like that with her hair health.

So, she was honest with Zoe and admitted that she wouldn’t be able to go blonde for the wedding. But, rather than being understanding, her friend just insisted that it would be fine since her hair appeared pretty healthy. She also found out that Zoe planned to pay for everyone’s hair coloring appointments.

Regardless, she just was not interested, so she thanked Zoe for the offer but stuck to her guns.

“I also asked if I could just wear a wig, and Zoe said no, that wigs are cheap and unnatural, and she wants us to have our real hair bleached instead of some cheap imitation for the day,” she revealed.

This pushed her and Zoe to get into a back-and-forth argument, and eventually, her friend told her that she should just go home. She got accused of ruining Zoe’s vision and ruining the photos and wedding video– which will be shown to her fiancé’s grandparents, who cannot fly in from Argentina to attend the event.

Anyway, after that, she just paid for her meal, apologized to Zoe, and headed home. And since then, she’s been at a total loss about what to do.

“I really don’t want to dye my hair, but I also don’t want to ruin Zoe’s picture-perfect day,” she vented.

So now, she’s been left wondering whether refusing to bleach her hair for her friend’s wedding is actually unreasonable or not.

How would you feel if you were forced to dye your hair to be at a friend’s bridal party? Do you think her friend’s request was reasonable or not? Would you go along with it or back out of the wedding? What should she do?
