Anna kept pushing her and demanded to know why she wasn’t considered during the staycation. Finally, she broke and decided to tell her the truth.
“I told her we did not want to hang out with her baby,” she recalled.
“She asked how I can say that about her baby [and] I asked her to leave it at that, but she wouldn’t. I finally told her it’s a baby, and we are all young. We don’t want to live our life around a baby she chose to have [and] that we get to do adult stuff and party all we wanted.”
She told Anna that if she left her baby at home more often, she could do more things with their friend group. Anna was very upset and started cursing at her. Then, she started sending messages to their group chat and told everyone she was disappointed in them for excluding her for being a mom.
Now, half of her friend group has been giving her grief for telling Anna the truth, while the other half thinks she did the right thing, even though it caused drama with Anna.
Was she right to tell Anna the truth, or should she have lied?
