Then, she asked Jake if he’d ever seen shadow people in their apartment, and he confessed that he’d seen the top hat man on one occasion. Also, he shared that he’s seen the top hat man multiple times, dating back to his childhood. In his view, the shadow man is “attached to him.”
Now, she doesn’t know what to make of all this. She’s confused about why she and her boyfriend are having different experiences and why the shadow man looks different to both of them. She wondered if shadow people, ghosts, or other supernatural entities can “shapeshift” depending on who they are targeting.
Understandably, she’s frightened because the entity doesn’t feel safe, and it seems to have dark motives. She is concerned about what this spooky figure would do to the children.
