She’s Refusing To Attend Her Best Friend’s Wedding Because Her Friend Wants Her To Cover Up Her Tattoos

So, she wound up telling Emma that it was unreasonable to expect her to hide a large part of who she was. Her best friend didn’t really agree, though.

“Emma got upset, mentioning how it’s ‘her day,’ and she just wanted things to be perfect,” she explained.

Their friends are pretty split on the situation, too. Some believe that she’s being too sensitive; meanwhile, others agree that Emma was in the wrong for asking her to do that.

“It’s causing tension in our friend group, and now I’m torn about attending the wedding at all,” she vented.

Still, she can’t help but wonder whether refusing to attend Emma’s wedding because she doesn’t want to cover up her tattoos would make her a real jerk or not.

Can you understand why she doesn’t want to cover her tattoos? Did Emma have a right to ask her to do that? What would you do if your best friend wanted you to do the same thing?
