So, she wound up telling Emma that it was unreasonable to expect her to hide a large part of who she was. Her best friend didn’t really agree, though.
“Emma got upset, mentioning how it’s ‘her day,’ and she just wanted things to be perfect,” she explained.
Their friends are pretty split on the situation, too. Some believe that she’s being too sensitive; meanwhile, others agree that Emma was in the wrong for asking her to do that.
“It’s causing tension in our friend group, and now I’m torn about attending the wedding at all,” she vented.
Still, she can’t help but wonder whether refusing to attend Emma’s wedding because she doesn’t want to cover up her tattoos would make her a real jerk or not.
