She also told him he’s responsible for overseeing her financial security since she’s an unemployed housewife who would become homeless after his death.
“He said that it will be incredibly unfair to his daughter and his late wife if I inherited the house, and his wife would have never wanted that,” she said.
“He also explained that I am the sole beneficiary of his life insurance and any savings left will be equally divided between me and his daughter.”
“However, I don’t think this money would be enough for me to survive the rest of my life, especially as my husband plans on having expensive cruises and holidays for the rest of his retirement.”
Their argument escalated quite intensely as she and her husband said some nasty things to each other.
She accused him of leaving her stranded and not considering all she’s done for him, while he says his inheritance will leave her with enough to get by, and if she doesn’t think so, she can get a job. He also denied that she’d made any contribution to their lifestyle other than drain his money.
She became so angry that she ran out of the room in tears.
