“Then it’ll be a very sad wedding,” her mom responded.
Still, she didn’t care about her mom’s comments and pointed out how the wedding could just include herself, her fiancé, and their son for all she cared.
Then, her mom just said she would not be going to the wedding!
Her dad and fiancé had taken her parents’ car to go golfing. So, she decided to take her own car, head back home, and just cry about the situation.
But the drama was far from over because her mom wound up texting her and telling her to find a new babysitter for her honeymoon.
Apparently, her mom was supposed to babysit their son the week following their wedding.
Not to mention, her mom also texted about planning to smoke at the wedding. She even got told that she couldn’t tell her mom “no” because that was her mom’s “medicine.”
Regardless, she reminded her mom how she could actually do anything she wanted since it was her wedding.
And that sealed the deal for her mom, who is now refusing to go to the ceremony.
She has not yet spoken to her dad or fiancé about the situation. But neither she nor her fiancé drinks or smokes because they just don’t see the point in it.
“And I wanted everyone to be there in the moment and not drunk, but apparently, that’s too boring for my mom, and she’d rather be drunk at home than come to my wedding,” she vented.
