“We got into a fight, and I left early Sunday morning instead of staying the whole weekend. I was in a bad mood when I got home, and when I saw the flowers still on the counter, I was even more irritated.”
Although Ava didn’t respond to any of her texts, she knew she had been home over the weekend because she had left dishes in the sink. Not wanting to suffer anymore, she threw Ava’s flowers away and went to her room.
When Ava came home, she saw that the flowers were gone and became very angry and called her names. Now, Ava expects her to reimburse her for the flowers, even though she didn’t buy them.
“She told our friend who agrees with her,” she added.
“I feel justified, as I was annoyed, and I had asked her twice, and it is my kitchen, too.”
Should she have to pay Ava back for the flowers, or did Ava miss her chance to keep them?
