She and her friends also planned to just take a taxi to and from the wedding, and they decided to stay in Mexico for four nights in order to make a little vacation out of the trip.
Well, despite her and her friends thinking that was a great solution for their affordability problem, she recently learned that the bride and one of the bridesmaids thought differently.
Apparently, the bride is upset that they’re not staying at the resort since there is a wedding block.
“Basically saying that it is selfish to make a vacation out of a wedding and that we should stay at the resort with everyone else,” she vented.
She does admit that maybe she and her friends should have given the couple a heads-up about their lodging plans. However, she is genuinely confused as to why the bride is mad when, at the end of the day, some guests simply cannot afford to stay at the expensive resort.
Still, with the bride upset with her and her friends, she’s been left wondering whether not wanting to stay at the pricey destination wedding resort really makes her a jerk or not.
