“I told him that I understand why he decided not to come because he recently cheated on his fiancée and wanted to not take that risk of being there without her,” he shared.
But while he understood that his cousin made a mistake by cheating, he still wished that his cousin had been at his wedding to share in his special day, regardless of his cousin’s fiancée no longer being invited. He felt hurt because he and his cousin grew up together, and he considers his cousin a brother.
However, his cousin doubled down and said that his fiancée should have been allowed to come to the wedding. Then, his cousin said that he would choose his fiancée over him any day.
During his and his cousin’s one-on-one conversation, his cousin’s fiancée barged into the room to yell at him. Predictably, this didn’t help the situation.
Do you think he was right to uninvite his cousin’s fiancée from the wedding?
