“The important thing to note here is that she actually has two of the same make [phones] but different models,” he revealed.
“So, by mistake, I grabbed the wrong one and logged in and said, ‘Oh, I thought it was blank.'”
At that point, his fiancée claimed that she must have just had a case of “baby brain.” Still, she told him that he could do whatever he wanted with the phone and delete anything that he did not need.
A short while later, he then started going through the phone and stumbled upon some conversations between his fiancée and her best friend.
The discussion had taken place shortly before he and his fiancée committed to each other. And while reading the messages, he realized that his fiancée had been confiding in her best friend and essentially “weighing her options.”
It was clear that his fiancée wanted to have kids before it was too late, so in the texts, she started talking about him as well as all of her “backup” options.
He found out that while his fiancée claimed he was the shortest and oldest guy she was seeing at the time, he was the guy with the best prospects. After all, he had the best personality, the most stable job, and many common interests.
Plus, his fiancée thought he was funny, great in bed, and good-looking even though he was not her “usual type.”
“Then, I guess we started dating. The messages stopped when she was starting to go through her mastectomies, and she got a new phone,” he said.
Regardless, after finding all of those conversations, he was completely taken aback. He actually audibly said, “What the [heck] babe,” immediately after stumbling upon the messages.
And at first, his fiancée was initially confused. But soon, she realized what phone he was holding and was absolutely mortified.
