“I’m over here dumb as [heck], no thoughts going on up here, and I’m like, I don’t understand the problem,” Laura said.
The bride goes on to explain to Laura that because the photographers were gay, she didn’t think it would be appropriate to have them at a family event, sharing that the husbands’ marriage was going against her values. She even tried to call Laura out, saying she was shocked that she would even suggest these photographers to her in the first place.
“If you spend any time researching me or if you spend 2 seconds on my TikTok, you would know that I would never see that as a problem,” Laura shared.
The bride then demands Laura find a different photographer for her wedding. Instead of allowing this homophobic behavior, Laura declined and told the bride to look for another wedding planner!
“Let this be a warning to anyone thinking of hiring me, I’m not a homophobe, and I don’t want my clients to be,” Laura concluded.
Can you believe that someone would decline to receive beautiful wedding photos just because they didn’t approve of the photographer having a husband? Good for Laura for standing up against this type of hateful behavior!
