She Was Really Creeped Out By A Stranger In A Movie Theater Last Year And Thought Her Life Was At Stake

“Everything was fine until the guy started picking up his backpack and scrunching inside it like he’s looking for something or going to get something out,” she remembered.

“Then, he would stare at us. He would stare at us for at least a good two to three minutes, then start scrunching inside his bag again, then stop and watch the movie.”

The strange man’s odd behavior continued throughout the movie. At one point, she could see him turn his whole body to face her and her husband and stare at them before digging into his bag once again.

Her husband noticed the staring too, and it got weirder from there. Between digging in his bag and watching the movie, the man started getting up to stand in the aisle and stare at them from there.

She and her husband started feeling like they should get up to report him to staff members, but since they were the only other people in that row, they didn’t want to make him angry and become targets.

She began asking her husband if they should switch seats, but he said no because he didn’t want to add more attention to themselves.

They tried giving the strange man the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he was innocent despite his odd behavior. To their dismay, he didn’t stop moving around.

“He keeps on staring at us and keeps on scrunching in his backpack again like he’s purposely doing it to let us know that he has something inside his backpack,” she said.

“My imagination [started] to get wild, and I started thinking that he might have a gun inside his bag.”

There were only about 20 minutes left in the movie when the guy got up and stood directly behind their row in the small space at the back of the theater. She and her husband suddenly became terrified and did their best to calm down.

Finally, when the movie ended, they rushed out of the theater and went home, not even bothering to see what the man looked like.
