“But my God, thinking back on it now, I wish I didn’t. My boyfriend doesn’t remember this and thinks I’m crazy,” she said.
Finally, one week after she and her boyfriend welcomed their baby into the world, she realized something fishy was going on in the pantry.
At the time, she and her boyfriend were at home with her mom. And while she was in the living room, sitting with her sleeping baby, her boyfriend walked into the pantry shortly after her mom headed into the kitchen.
Now, she didn’t think anything of this at first. But then, she heard her mom start to whisper and giggle, which made her really suspicious.
She wound up getting up from the couch as slowly as she could. That way, her boyfriend and mom wouldn’t hear her approach.
But, at the last second, the floor made a creaking noise, and it sounded as though her boyfriend and mom had moved away from each other.
Then, all of a sudden, her mom was standing right by the door when she approached the kitchen and weirdly asked her, “What are you doing up?”
Her boyfriend was standing weird, too– bent over with his legs crossed– as though he was hiding something. Yet, all he asked her was, “What are you doing?”
She couldn’t figure out why both her boyfriend and mom were asking her that. After all, she was in her own house.
So, once her mom left, she asked her boyfriend what the heck was going on. But he swore he was just looking for food and that his stomach hurt.
“And once again, I brushed it off because I thought it was my postpartum brain like he was telling me,” she revealed.
