She worries that if she gives birth and brings their son home while his daughter is there, all his attention will go toward calming down his daughter instead of spending quality time adjusting to the new baby. She wants to make sure their son has a moment to settle in at home peacefully.
“I just don’t know how it would work while I’m healing in stitches and our son and his daughter are crying all at once,” she said.
“I won’t mind the juggle once I’m more healed.”
Unfortunately, her husband doesn’t understand where she’s coming from and doesn’t think her reasoning is valid enough to make his daughter stay with her mom for an extra week.
Now, she’s wondering if her request is too much to ask. Either way, she’s been having a little anxiety over the thought of having two young babies in the house at once the week she brings home their newborn.
Should her husband make things work so his daughter isn’t with them when their son is born?
