“I feel like more of a man than him because I didn’t go out of my way to whine and complain about it. Like, just go and wash your hands.”
That’s why she ultimately decided to confront her date later on about the remarks he had made, asking him why he reacted like that.
By the end of their conversation, though, her date just claimed that he was “stating the truth.” Plus, he even said that he did not care at all what she thought about him because of it.
So, she believes that her date’s response told her everything she needed to know in case she was planning on pursuing a relationship with him.
“Number one is how he treats other people, and number two is how he would respond to things that bother me personally,” she concluded.
Still, ever since their date, she’s been left wondering whether viewing her date’s reaction to the homeless man as a “red flag” is justified or not.
