His ex-wife then said this dog was their “baby,” so he should pay for all of the related expenses. He declined to do that.
After he said no, his wife began talking to all of his family and friends in an effort to get him to say yes to footing the bill.
“Some of my friends are starting to take her side,” he said. “They say that I’m being (mean) for not helping an animal that I used to care about.”
“I don’t think I owe her any help. I thought buying him was a bad idea. I was repeatedly told he wasn’t mine. And she left with him, and I have not seen them in months.”
