Unfortunately, though, the drama did not end there– because just yesterday, her husband Howie randomly asked her if she agreed to give May the dress.
Then, once she told her husband no, he sent her a screenshot of a text from May’s fiancé Joe. Apparently, Joe messaged Howie asking him to drop off the gown once he got off work. Joe also thanked her for “being so generous.”
Now, to her, this made it seem as though May told Joe that she agreed to hand over the gown when she really refused. Plus, because of the lie, Joe is now furious at her because he believes she has changed her mind.
Her husband, Howie, did try to intervene and explain how she never actually agreed to lend May the dress. But still, it has not stopped May from blowing up her phone.
Apparently, her friend won’t stop asking her why she is so attached to the dress. She has also gotten accused of being a bad friend because she is “more interested in a material item” than May’s happiness on her wedding day.
“But I feel like this is self-explanatory. It’s my dress. The end,” she vented.
Still, with May totally up in arms, she has been left wondering whether not wanting to let her friend use her wedding dress is reasonable or not.
Does it make sense why she doesn’t want May to wear her gown? Is anyone required to lend out their wedding dress– even if it’s for a friend? Can you believe May tried to lie and get her husband Howie to drop off the gown behind her back? How would you handle this sticky situation?
