Anyway, later that evening, she decided to send her father a text letting him know that she had finally decided to cut all ties with him.
So, from now on, she would not be speaking to him at all unless in the event of an emergency.
Ever since then, though, her father has been begging her to reconsider her decision, and she is not sure how to proceed.
She definitely does not feel like her father has a right to expect her to care for her half-sister after everything that went down.
At the same time, though, she recognizes that her half-sister is just an innocent kid and does not know if refusing her care is the wrong thing to do.
