After she refused, though, her brother and sister-in-law began begging her to give in. First, they claimed that the relocation would only be temporary.
And then, they even had the nerve to suggest that her husband really does not need the dog all that much since he is home most of the time.
She just kept saying no, though, so her brother and sister-in-law decided to ask the source– her husband. But this pissed her off even more, so she ended up shutting that down immediately, and it started a huge fight.
Her sister-in-law started screaming about how she values a dog more than her own niece. Then, her brother jumped in and accused her of being unsupportive and cruel to her niece– who he claims has already been through enough.
And finally, after all of that screaming, her husband finally got involved. But his suggestion was way more selfless than she could have ever imagined.
Apparently, her husband started asking her to take him to his father’s house with the dog so he could stay there until her brother, sister-in-law, and niece moved out in a few weeks.
She was never going to let that happen, though– because the last time her husband went to his father’s house, his father called him useless and a failure.
So, ever since that argument, her brother and sister-in-law have been sulking in the guest room, and her niece has refused to speak with her.
At the same time, though, her husband has been trying to convince her to let him go stay at his father’s house in order to keep the family peaceful. She is sick of watching her husband compromise because of his disability, though.
“This man, my husband, is like this all the time! He is always willing to do what others want just to ‘keep the peace.’ You can literally cuss him out, and he will apologize to you like it was his fault!” she vented.
“He thinks he owes people for accepting him as a disabled man, which is sad.”
